Six Sigma is a philosophy. It is not a standard like CMMI or ISO. You have a problem and you find out a solution. There are no defined set of rules to find out the solution.
Six sigma gives you various methodologies like DMAIC, DFSS etc. Which makes you to think out of box and gives you a different view to the problem. You just use that methodology and find out the solution.
Six sigma is not owned by any industry. It was born in manufacturing industry and now adopted by almost all the industries in the world. You take your business to a different perspective by adopting six sigma. This has been proved in the past, whenever a new industry adopts it.
The service industry is very fast in adopting six sigma, but the IT industry is very slow in that case.
We will see the various phases of six sigma and its importance in our next posts.

About Life
Life is something which everyone will want to live.
There are many faces(Phases) to life. It depends on how we take it.
I am a positive person in life. I wanted to live my life in my own way, and take life in the direction I travel.
Many people say "I hate this life", before saying that I wanted to ask those people one simple question "What is the meaning of life?". They will not know that, because they wouldn't have enjoyed or lived their life in thier own way.
You have to decide how you live, and don't blame the life simply.
Think positively and do things in a positive manner. The challenges that we face in our life is not a mountain, its just like the river water.
The happiness and sorrows both will not stay for a long time in a persons life, as the water in the river doesn't stay in the same place for a long time.
When you hate life or unable to face the challenges in your life, just think for a moment about any physically challenged person.
Their entire life is a challenge, each and every day is a challenge for them. But still they are living their life positively. Take them as a motivation factor and live your life in your own enjoyable way...
